great movie
I have seen this movie; It is a great movie. It is clean, ethical, and educational movie. It shows the best actions in time of crises.

the story can happen to anyone of us, however the decisions we make makes all the difference no mater how difficult our decisions are; and that is what this movie is about.

3 families, divided by tragedy, unite in faith
A beautiful film that highlights our need to overlook our differences and focus, instead, on our similarities and ways we can help heal physical and spiritual wounds. No spoilers.....so, I'll just say that some issues that we, in our current society, face daily, and some decisions that we may have to make, are brought to light and addressed in a powerful, yet touching, film.

For me this was a story about the power of forgiveness.
Let me start off by saying that I come from a Christian heritage but I am not a Christian. I am an agnostic. I can find no proof for the existence of God (let alone what's in the Bible, Koran, etc) nor can I find proof for the non-existence of God. Intellectual honesty requires, therefore, that I neither believe nor disbelieve. Given my stance on God and religion, I dismissed the Bible / Christian stuff in "A Question of Faith" out of hand. I just ignored it and instead approached this movie from a human behavior standpoint. I'm glad I did.

"A Question of Faith" is one of those stories about people who do not know each other but are brought together by an event, in this case a totally avoidable tragedy, and, as is necessary for this kind of movie, by coincidence. The tragedy begets pain and, of course, anger.

I like the acting in this movie. Some of the characters could have seemed "too good" to be real, but since I've met real people who are like the characters portrayed in the movie I was able to get past that.

The characters were all introduced early in the movie, and it became fairly predictable what what was going to happen next. So you might think, therefore, that "A Question of Faith" just left me flat and from my description that this movie is not worth watching, but you would be wrong.

By the end of "A Question of Faith" I was crying. This movie, to me, is about the power and beauty of forgiveness, and it doesn't matter whether forgiveness comes from some religion or from innate human goodness. Maybe forgiveness means nothing to you but it means a whole lot to me. I have been both forgiven and have forgiven in my lifetime and I know what it truly means. "A Question of Faith" portrayed forgiveness in its true glory in spite of the biblical connections.

I knocked off a couple of points for all the bible stuff. But the thing I really didn't like about "A Question of Faith" is that it left all the theaters around here before I could go see it again.

Another bland Christian movie
Its watchable and in this film you can see - this guys really try cover they religion message under some more reasonable and modern messages about how bad when you texting in car, and about how good when you donate organs, but don't do bad - stop texting in car and go and donate your organs, even if in REAL world this person do not need and cant accept this organ... well do I say about not texting in a car! Don't do it! Someone can really hurt and you go to jail and someone need to donate organ... yeeees its REALLY SO repetitive. And lousy as hell, that part where they need exactly 11 year old boy, when common sense and all rule of biology tell them - for good plot you need teens same age! Not a 11 year old boy and just literally grow woman, and if you do this - just don't tall audience about - hypoxia, because its exactly what she get! Well, what can I say - Christian writers not good educated one. And don't texting in the car! Even if you don't texting anywhere past five years.

What would men do without their faithful women?
This faith-based gem begins with a Bible verse from Psalm 34:17 "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles" and also contains several other references and quotes from Holy Scripture including John 11:25-26, Proverbs 3:4-6, and Mark 11:25. However, two others that are beautifully demonstrated in the lives of its female characters are from Proverbs 31: verse 10 "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies" and verse 26 "She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue". Without them, and the sage words of the lead character's father, there's no telling where the protagonist - Pastor David Newman, played by Richard T. Jones - would have ended up by story's end.

The narrative is a bit confusing at first - about a dozen characters are introduced in short order and it's unclear how their stories are interrelated - but stay with it. Without giving away the plot, there are many Biblical themes (perhaps too many?) included in this 104-minute film. Per its title, faith is a big one, but there's also trust, forgiveness, mercy, redemption, and what a Christian marriage should look like; each of these could warrant their own movie. While God is obviously front-and-center throughout, it's great to have Jesus included in the dialogue since many in this genre leave out the Name Above All Names.

The real strength of A Question of Faith (2017) is its lead actors and their realistic characterizations: the aforementioned Jones in the leading role Pastor Newman and Kim Fields as his loving, supportive and strong wife Theresa; C. Thomas Howell as angry contractor John Danielson and Renée O'Connor as his faithful wife Mary; the previously mentioned Gregory Alan Williams as Newman's father, who's also retiring his Senior Pastor position to make room for his son, and especially Donna Biscoe as Patricia, his equally wise wife and instructive mother. There's also Cecil King as associate pastor T.C. Stallings, Jaci Velasquez as restaurant owner Kate Hernandez, mother of teen-aged Maria (played by Karen Valero), and soprano Amber Nelon Thompson as the Danielson's daughter Michelle, whose powerful yet angelic voice just might bring a tear to your eye.

The life lessons are invaluable, including some secular ones like "don't text while driving" and "be an organ donor", and the story is good enough that its intended audience will give the filmmakers grace for the contrivances, particularly its expedient ending.

Outstanding!!!!!
Without question this is one of the most inspiring movies ever made. It shares the basic tenet of forgiveness without being preachy. It's cross-generational storyline is refreshing and is a must see, particularly for teens. I would HIGHLY recommend. Remember, there are many in Hollywood who want to label all Christians as extremist, forgetting that Christ was an extremist for showing love.

A must see
With all that's going on in the world and in our own country this movie is a must-see. It will speak to people of all ages but in particular anyone between the ages of 12 and 80 should see this movie. The performance of the cast was great and the various themes hit the viewer as a powerful reminder that God is good in all things. . Bring Kleenex!

Something good from Something Bad
A lot of the movie comes from various angles and family perspectives. It has good acting and great actors. It is well put together and certainly worth watching even if you don't like faith based films or bible themed movies you will still enjoy it. Anyone with a conscious would enjoy this film, definitely worth watching.

Real life events that could happen to you
3 families interviewed by a car accident. Everyone is introduced rather quickly but the transition is easy to follow. This film is about anger, forgiveness and love. A film for all ages and the issues of cell phones in our lives today. Too bad these kind of movies come n go so quickly without giving everyone a chance to see them. Wish the advertising of films gave all films a fair shot but don't see that happening anytime soon.
